Biometrix’s previously announced acquisition, NSS,
signs multi-year agreement for Home Land Security Storage
Network
Attached Storage (NAS) system to retain images of scanned
luggage at major airports worldwide
FREMONT,
Calif., June 13, 2003 -- IQ Biometrix Inc. (OTCBB:IQBM)
announced today that Network Storage Solutions (NSS) has
entered into a multi-year, $5 million OEM agreement with
InVision Technologies, Inc, a manufacturer of airport security
scanning devises.
Under
the terms of the agreement, NSS will supply InVision with
NAS products for integration into InVision’s explosives
detection systems used at major airports worldwide for screening
passenger checked luggage. The NAS products will be used
as a repository for scanned luggage images.

agreement confirms that IQB’s acquisition of NSS will
give the company strong and continued growth and development
in the Home Land Security market," said Bill Scigliano,
CEO and President of IQ Biometrix.
IQB
announced in May that it had entered into a letter of intent
for the acquisition of NSS, a leading developer and supplier
of network storage software and products for security and
other applications.
