John
Walsh Profiles IQ Biometrix Technology on Larry King Live
FREMONT,
Calif, June 26, 2003
IQ Biometrix Inc. IQBM confirmed today that its composite
image technology FACES was profiled by America's Most Wanted
host John Walsh during an interview with Larry King earlier
this week.
Walsh
credited FACES as a key technology in the investigation
of a Miami serial rapist. The Miami-Dade Police Department
is using a FACES composite to hunt down the rapist who is
targeting young, school-aged girls. The composite was broadcast
on America's Most Wanted on Saturday, June 20.
Walsh
pointed out that the first time FACES technology was used
on his show, the mother of another child serial molester
called to identify the suspect. "It's the state-of-the-art
way to catch these guys."
