Intergraph
Video Analyst System Showcased on "The John Walsh Show"
HUNTSVILLE,

Intergraph Chief Scientist Highlights Video Enhancement
Capabilities Instrumental to Recovering Lost or Kidnapped
Children
Intergraph
Corporation INGR announced today that their Video AnalystA(R)
System will be featured on "The John Walsh Show"
on May 23, 2003. The Intergraph Video Analyst System is
a state-of-the-art forensic analysis workstation that delivers
tools necessary to capture, analyze, enhance and edit all
major video formats. The Intergraph Video Analyst System
comes pre-loaded with IQ Biometrix's IQBM facial composite
software. "The John Walsh Show" focuses on issues
affecting the safety of America's children and teenagers
and is hosted by John Walsh, a strong advocate for victims'
rights and missing children. Friday's episode highlights
examples of cutting-edge technology - global positioning
systems, DNA and video enhancement - that provides capabilities
influential to recovering lost or kidnapped children.
Gene
Grindstaff, Intergraph's chief scientist and principal software
design engineer for the Video Analyst System, will represent
Intergraph on Walsh's show. He will highlight Intergraph's
recent partnership with IQ Biometrix Inc. and SocialTech
Inc. Together, the three companies provide a national emergency
alert solution built on Biometrix FACES LE(TM), SocialTech
TRAK II and Intergraph Video Analyst System.
FACES
LE software is a composite sketch artist tool that helps
to identify and encode the faces of missing children or
their captors. TRAK II is a powerful system that allows
users to capture images and distribute alerts over a secure
communications network to designated authorities and to
the public. Video Analyst captures and stores analog video
in a digital video format and clarifies illegible video
frames without changing the underlying footage. Combined,
these technologies serve as a turnkey emergency response
system - providing law enforcement officials and the public
with specific, visual details of kidnapped children and
possible suspects. Video Analyst captures and enhances video
of possible suspects and abducted children, FACES LE creates
facial composite sketches of the persons involved and TRAK
II distributes the images and related data to targeted law
enforcement agencies and to the public. Grindstaff will
also demonstrate how LightSurf Multimedia Messaging can
distribute pictures or composite sketches of missing children
or suspects directly to mobile phones or PCs. This high-tech
solution will hopefully result in the recovery and rescue
of children across the country.
"Intergraph
is pleased that our Video Analyst System can be used to
support such an important and worthwhile cause," Grindstaff
commented. "If our system helps to save just one child's
life - it will be worth all the time and effort spent on
its development."
