Biometrix Announces First Network Sale to a Major Police
Department
FREMONT,
Calif., Sept. 12, 2003
IQ Biometrix Inc., a worldwide provider of integrated law
enforcement and security solutions, announced an enterprise
application sale of its award winning FACES composite image
technology to the San Diego Police Department.

SDPD
has purchased a network licensing solution for FACES 4.0
which will allow access by up to 200 officers throughout
the department with a focus on key specialized units --
sex crimes, child abuse, robbery and homicide.
SDPD
is one of the largest police departments in the U.S. with
more than 2000 sworn officers.
