Biometrix Hires Bill Scigliano New CEO
Fresno, CA, September 9, 2002 IQ
Biometrix, Inc., the operating entity of JVWeb, Inc. (OTCBB:
JVWW.OB), a worldwide provider of facial comparison security
software announced today that it has hired Bill Scigliano
as Chief Executive Officer.
For
the past eleven years, Bill Scigliano has worked with the
Attorney General of British Columbia, Canada. Bill held
the prestigious position of Executive Director, Corporate
& Public Issues Division. In that role, he was responsible
for Intergovernmental relations on a (an) International
and National level. He also led a multi agency team responsible
for the implementation, administration and delivery of the
Drug Treatment Court for Vancouver, services for victims
of serious crimes and The Tobacco litigation Initiative.
Bill was also responsible for the development and administration
of justice and enforcement corporate programs. He has been
a member of the Executive Justice Technology Strategies
committee dealing with the expansion of the use of technology
in justice system. Initiatives included the development
of a consolidated 9.1.1. system, electronic court filing,
Land title registration system, and U.S. - Canadian internet
gambling enforcement initiative. Mr. Scigliano has also
served as a high profile liaison with the National Association
of Attorneys General and Committee of Western Attorneys
Generals across the United States and Canada. He has provided
direct support to Generals at Federal/Provincial/State AG/Justice
Ministers meetings and developed corporate responses to
rapidly developing issues. He has also acted as the government's
liaison for "America's Most Wanted" television
show.
